In recent years, it has become a good tradition for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, to participate in the Republican August Conference of Education Workers. This year was no exception. Opening the event, the Head of State once again emphasized that education is the foundation of the country’s prosperity, a guarantee of its security, the basis for the development of human capital, and the key mission of the teaching community in raising and educating the younger generation. The President also addressed the challenges facing the nation’s education system.
The purpose of the conference is to determine the present and future of an education system capable of shaping individuals with high moral values, professional competence, and social responsibility—aligned with the demands of the time.
The forum’s program features a large-scale exhibition dedicated to the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies into the educational process. Participants are introduced to modern digital tools, interactive platforms, methodological developments, and innovative technologies that open new horizons for flexible and effective learning.
The conference includes 25 panel sessions with the participation of more than 3,000 representatives from the education sector across all regions of Kazakhstan. The hall is filled with an atmosphere of inspiration and idea-sharing, as leading educators, administrators, and experts discuss the priorities of the upcoming academic year.
For participants, it is also an opportunity for personal communication and constructive dialogue. During the conference, important issues in the development of education were discussed with Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mayra Turganbaevna Meldebekova, and President of “Astana” International University, Serik Aztaevich Irsaliyev.
